David Barron Missing Person:Public Appeal to Help Find Missing David Barron
Lancashire Police have issued an urgent appeal for the public’s assistance in tracing 58-year-old David Barron, who is missing from home. Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are asking communities across the county to be vigilant.
David was last seen at Royal Preston Hospital at approximately 6:30pm on Sunday, 16th February 2026. Despite extensive police enquiries to establish his movements since that time, his current whereabouts remain unknown. He is known to have links to the Chorley, Blackpool, and Preston areas.
When last seen, David was wearing a grey hoodie, a red and black checkered shirt, navy joggers, and distinctive black and brown wellington boots. He is described as being of average build with a shaven head.
Anyone who has seen David, or who has any information regarding his location, is urged to make contact. Please call Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log number LC-20260216-1082. If you see David now, do not approach him but dial 999 immediately for a confirmed sighting.
Police have also directed a message to David himself, asking him to please make contact with officers, his family, or a trusted adult to confirm he is safe and well.
The force is urging the public to share this appeal widely on social media to help increase the chances of locating him safely. Any small detail could be vital.
