Romeo Fleck And Charles Jackson Death, 3-year-old child ,Killed in Harnett County Crash
HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A devastating two-vehicle collision has claimed the lives of three individuals, including a young child, leaving a community in mourning. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol identified the victims as Romeo Mason Fleck, 23, Charles Jackson, 25, and a 3-year-old child.
The fatal crash occurred on NC 27 near Christian Light Road. According to preliminary investigations, a Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Fleck and carrying the young passenger, was traveling eastbound. For reasons still under investigation, the Equinox crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a westbound Ford F-150 pickup truck, driven by Jackson.
The impact of the collision was severe. Tragically, Romeo Fleck, Charles Jackson, and the 3-year-old child were all pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the name of the child, pending family notification. No other injuries were reported.
The Highway Patrol’s Critical Incident Reconstruction Team is leading the ongoing investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
