The South Webster community is grieving the sudden passing of Marc Kreischer, superintendent of Bloom-Vernon Local Schools. A beloved leader, his impact stretched far beyond the classroom, touching countless lives throughout the region.
The district expressed profound gratitude for the immediate outpouring of support from neighboring schools and the community at large. In this time of shared sorrow, the arrangements for Mr. Kreischer have been announced to allow all who knew him to pay their respects.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22nd, in the Bloom-Vernon High School gymnasium. Funeral services will directly follow at 3 p.m. The district invites friends, colleagues, former students, and community members to join in celebrating his life and legacy.
In response to this loss, the district has postponed the high school boys’ basketball game against Valley, originally scheduled for Friday, February 17th. A rescheduled date will be communicated at a later time.
